Dobronos joins Scrap Dynamics, exits AIM
Dave Dobronos has joined recycling brokerage firm Scrap Dynamics as executive vice president, after an eight-month stint at American Iron and Metal (AIM).
Dobronos has officially entered into a partnership with Jay Thome, president of Aurora, Ohio-based Scrap Dynamics.
Together Dobronos and Thome, both industry veterans, will work to grow the company's fully independent scrap brokerage business, which was established in 2002 and serves all regions east of the Mississippi and into Canada.
Dobronos will officially began his post in mid-August.
He most recently served as Montreal-based AIM's [vice president of US and Mexico operations(https://metals.argusmedia.com/newsandanalysis/article/2412459) and prior to that held the post as president and chief executive officer of FPT.
