Removes mention of second force majeure by different company in final paragraph.

Major chemicals producer AdvanSix today issued summer fill quotes from its Hopewell, Virginia, plant, with values effective from 5 August.

Granular ammonium sulfate from Hopewell will be offered at $295/st fob — flat with last year's program. Supply at the latest offer level will be available through 8 August, after which a $20/st increase will follow.

The latest program follows the producer's Midwest summer fill pricing program issued on 12 July.

AdvanSix is the sole producer with formal summer fill programs this season, with other domestic producers contending with ongoing outages stemming from the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.

Interoceanic in early July issued a force majeure notice for ammonium sulfate deliveries from its Pasadena, Texas, facility after Hurricane Beryl battered southeast Texas, leading to production outages, according to various market sources.
