The African Hydrogen Partnership is the only continent-wide African non-profit umbrella association dedicated to the development of green and natural (geologic) hydrogen, hydrogen based chemicals, fuel cell technology and related business opportunities in Africa. The AHP represents the whole African continent and all African nations.

The AHP and its member organizations support and strive to achieve the climate targets of the Paris Agreement as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We aim to reduce carbon dioxide emissions while minimizing the impact on bio habitat and biodiversity. The AHP promotes natural and green hydrogen as a clean, renewable and sustainable energy carrier and feedstock to achieve the transition to net zero emission societies in Africa.
In order to form the strongest possible international alliance for utilizing Africa’s hydrogen potential and creating green wealth, organizations from anywhere in the world are welcome to join the AHP.Ammonia Energy Association
The Ammonia Energy Association (AEA) is a global non-profit industry association that promotes the responsible use of ammonia in a sustainable energy economy. The AEA’s mission encompasses both the decarbonization of ammonia for existing applications, including fertilizers, chemicals, explosives, and other industrial processes, as well as the adoption of low-carbon ammonia in new applications, including direct use as a fuel for electric power generation or maritime transport, and indirect use as a hydrogen carrier and carbon-free energy commodity. Established in 2004, the AEA membership includes 140 corporations around the world; in 2020 it launched its first regional arm, AEA Australia. Among other initiatives, the AEA is seeking to facilitate the establishment of a globally harmonised Certification Scheme for Low-Carbon Ammonia.

The Arab Fertilizer Association (AFA) is a non-governmental Arab International Organization established in 1975. Operating under the umbrella of the Council of Arab Economic Unity - the Economic and Social Council affiliated with the Arab League. AFA's primary objective is to facilitate and enhance technical collaboration among member companies within the mineral fertilizer industry, serving as a platform for Arab and International companies at the forefront of the mineral fertilizer industry, fosters stronger relationships and networking opportunities with global institutions, organizations, and industry leaders in fertilizer manufacturing, operations, technology solutions, agricultural advancements as well as, providing fertilizer market insights, updates, and technical reports.
