P6 Technologies

What is P6?
We are the SaaS-based leader in the growing Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) software market focused
on transportation fuels, biogas and chemical industries.
What does our solution do?
Why at the Product level? Most carbon calculations are done at the corporate level. But the
customer doesn’t buy a company, they buy a product. They are confused by scope 1, 2, 3 and now
some are mentioning scope 4. This is the only number that can translate across the supply chain.
Our solution generates a CI score, think of it like calories on a can of soup. Investors use this score
to make decisions on whether or not to invest in the build out of a facility. Companies use it to
evaluation products and in some regulator markets to apply for tax credits ($2B to date).
Why fuels and petrochemicals? These are responsible for more emissions and energy usage than
any other contributor. This is the big one, and no one in the LCA software market was tackling it head
on. Also, these two sectors are really, REALLY HARD to decarbonize and need better tools to
evaluate sites.
We automate: Using our software platform, we perform life cycle assessments on products. It’s a
process done today, done manually or using outdated PC-based software and time intensive. We
are providing software to do it faster, cheaper and more accurately and to help companies scale this
process in a software market that is growing double-digit.
How is this done today? An LCA is
currently done with spreadsheets, consultants, or outdated software that is 7+ years old.
Consultants are taking 2-6 months to perform an LCA and are charging between 15-50k per LCA. This
is just to meet the regulatory demand and is not addressing companies desire to run numerous
scenarios on different energy mix, feedstocks, equipment types and using varying processes.
