As the conference is being held in Belgium, all in-person delegate tickets are subject to 21% local Belgian VAT as per Article 53 and Article 54 of the EU VAT directive. If the participant is a Belgian VAT taxable person or a foreign VAT taxable person with an individual Belgian fiscal representative, the domestic reverse charge mechanism will be applicable..
