UK fuel supplier Greenergy's 4,088 b/d biodiesel plant at Immingham in the UK has restarted following flooding.
Production commenced this week after the facility suffered water damage to electrical equipment and pumps when the worst tidal flooding for 60 years hit the east coast of the UK last December.
All the critical equipment that was damaged by the seven-foot high water levels in the plant have been replaced and recommissioning is being phased in, allowing for testing and adjustments during the restart process.
The site produces biodiesel exclusively from waste oils and animal fats.
