Updates with restart
Crude loadings have resumed, at a reduced rate, at jetties of Iraq's Basrah Oil Terminal (BOT) in the Mideast Gulf, where exports were disrupted earlier by an oil spill.
Loadings restarted at the BOT jetties at 18:00 local time, according to a shipping source. Activities were interrupted after an oil spill at 03:20 local time. Loadings had continued throughout at the port's single point mooring (SPM) buoys.
Two trading sources said the crude spilt was Basrah Medium. Further details were not immediately available.
Exports of Basrah grades from BOT were 3.29mn b/d in August, according to preliminary Argus tracking.
